I woke up from a dead sleep at 4AM due to being so sore! Downed some ibuprofen and went back to bed.
Friday: incorporated deadlifts/squats
Saturday: Wasn’t sore, did more deadlifts/squats, interval running.
Sunday: Didn’t feel very sore, sprints for 30 minutes.
Well let me tell you, all of those sprints and deadlifts caught up to me.
My booty is a ROCK that feels like it was set on fire hahahahahh.
Hammies were the second most sore and then my calves.
My calves are already pretty strong from all of the running I do and so I was surprised that they were sore but they are! My core isn’t sore but it has that tight, solid feeling if you know what I mean.
I can barely move today which means it’s protein time!!!
I woke up feeling inspired and sketched in bed for an hour or so.
I have all of this creative energy built up and strange ideas storming in my head. It would be such a waste to not take advantage of this.. and so today will be dedicated to art.
I miss drawing portraitures and I would love to draw people all day but now that I don’t have class, I don’t have models. Drawing in public is difficult because people move around so much and my speed is awful. Not to mention it’s awkward as hell if they catch you staring at them or notice you are drawing them lol. I can’t help the staring. When I am drawing from direct observation I barely look at my paper, it’s all about focusing on what you see and letting your hand go. After a while it will do what it needs to do on it’s own. Then, going back and fixing, fixing, getting frustrated, almost giving up, and then - it’s beautiful. I miss figure drawing as well but I won’t even get started on that.
Also, remember how I predicted that I was going to be extremely sore today?
Yupp. Just call me Raven Symone… hah!
Good thing I went running yesterday.
My mind is restless but my body is exhausted and so I think it’s time for bed.
Tomorrow I am going camping for 5 or 6 days (I don’t really remember) for the holiday.
So I will be updating, just not as frequently!

I woke up a few times from my legs being so sore and stiff! When I woke up the final time this morning I stretched for 20 minutes or so. I think it is partially from the leg workout I did the other night but combined with yesterday’s run (I took on A TON of hills) that did me in. I’m happy that I’m sore but ow!
On the bright side, I had an excuse to make my extremely thick and chocolate protein shake for breakfast! SO GOOD! :D
Also, have any of you put coffee in your protein shakes before? And if so, do you make the coffee in advance, refrigerate it, and then make your shake, or is there a quicker way?
The day after a very intense ab workout sometimes my abs get so sore that I feel nauseous unless I take Motrin or ibuprofen. Does anyone else have this problem?
SO sweaty and exhausted after that workout. I need a shower STAT.
To motivate myself even more I worked out in my skivvies hahahahahah tmi?
It sounds ridiculous but it worked.
Every muscle hurts. I can barely lift my arms to type.
I just want to lay on the floor forever…
but instead I am going to shower.
Highlight of my workout:
I beat my plank time! My record was 2:10 and today I held it for 2:30! Whoooop! :D
omg it burns… thank you ab workout.
